    Alternator Rebuild

Looking for suggestion for some to rebuild an alternator for my small block '65 roadster.
Rebuilder must be able to complete to NCRS standards. I have a "spare" I purchased which spins freely with the correct build date for my car. According to the JM the rebuild needs to be completed with diodes that are correctly marked for negative and positive and date must precede my build date ( April 65 ) Further info clarifies color of cover insulation.

I'm sure all of the above is common knowledge to everyone here on the site -- but just trying to make certain I select a rebuilder that can restore to the above original correct condition(s)

    Thanks in advance.

I think that I speak for most here, John Pirkle in Augusta, GA is a very good choice. Here is a link to his web site

Agreed. John Pirkle is the man to see about this.

Had my alternator (65 SB) rebuilt by John Pirkle about a month ago....beautiful work and meets all of the 65 Judging Manual requirements. You will not be disappointed.

For me... John Pirkle sets the standard

for all other rebuilders. Not the fastest,,,, but then that's because he is in such demand.

Just had lunch with John the elder and John boy. They were in West Jefferson, NC on a mission hunting cores. You vould not find any better work than they do.
