I have a 67 327/350 hp. On the right valve cover(aluminum covers) where should decals be placed? Should I have an HD sticker on the rear face and the TONAWANDA sticker on the top front uppper corner? Anyone have any pictures of how it should be or should the decals only be on the metal valve covers? Thanks for anyones help.

If you have a Tonawanda decal on the valve cover of a 1967 L-79, then you have a big problem. Tonwanda did not build any small block engines for Corvettes. However, I know that you mean a FLINT decal. And, yes, there should be a Flint decal on the front facing end of the right (passenger) side valve cover. The decal was used for BOTH base engine and L-79.
And, yes, there should be a black-on-yellow engine broadcast code label on the rear facing end of the right side valve cover. If your car is a 1967 L-79 with K-19, then the printed code should be "HD".In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
