    '66 A/C car

I am restoring a late L36 coupe with A/c. On the passenger side of the inner hood ledge (drip rail) there is a rosette rivet holding a clip under the fender, two inches toward the front of the car, in the exact same place is a whole just exactly the size for a rivet. Is there another clip? Or should I fill the hole?

Also on the pass side inner fender there is a hole about the size of a 50 cent piece going thru into the wheelwell. It is a precise hole. I don't think this could be factory, but before I fill I would like some input.

Jeremy my first Corvette was a 64 convertible with factory air conditioning. Thinking back many years I do remember being able with extensions to go through two holes in the passenger wheelwell that lined up with the two front spark plugs that sure made it easy to remove and install sparkplugs since they were below the air conditioner compressor. I don't remember how large they were but I sure do wish that car was in my garage to look at it. Your 66's hole as large as a 50 cent piece could allow you to remove the plugs from this one hole.

      Jeremy,

The 50 cent hole should not be there. I have a '66 with A/C and I am helping restore another '66 with A/C. Pictures would help.
