    66 gas door

    I have a late 66 would the gas door flag have a black or white square in the upper left hand corner of the cross flags? What is correct for a real late car built in the last week of production?

          Jeremy,

          Very late '66 cars had the white square in the upper left. My car has a July 20 build date and my original gas lid door has this pattern. I'm pretty sure this issue is discussed in the '66 TIM&JG.

              Why does Nolans book talk about a black upper left corner on a late car?
              I gues the bottom line is what is going to get me the points?
