I bought a 65 guage cluster at Carlisle which is in nice condition to restore. The ignition switch does not have a key in it. Is there some way to remove the ignition switch from the cluster without the key.....thanks.

Not without breaking it... You need the lock cylinder removed in order to unscrew the bezel and remove the switch from the dash. You might walk the cluster down to your local locksmith and have him 'pick' the lock for you.- Top

Rick,
Call Peter Johnson in Greenfield Park, he can do it for you.

Re: Ignition switch removal-C2.
Rick,
If you're in Ottawa, as I think you are, Avenue Locksmiths on Bank Street in the Glebe worked on my 65 door locks and glove box lock making new keys to fit the cylinders as required. You might try them. Jimmy Saikely is the owner, I believe.
