    Forged pistons

I found a box of 8 new Badger pistons that I have had for a long time. The printing on the box say" Badger 8- P530+30. I had written on the box "327+30, 11.25 to 1" these are forged and have B530 rfaised in the inside forging and .030 stamped in side. Anyone know more about these? I brlieve that these were something that would not interchange when we left Badger for TRW. D/

Badger is/was a manufacturer of rebuilder-type pistons. That brand used to be very ubiquitous in machine shop inventory. However, I'm surprised that these are forged pistons. I thought that all that Badger offered were conventional cast pistons. Are you sure they are forged? If so, I expect that they are manufactured by another company and simply packaged and marketed under the Badger brand.
