Another observation on the 62 is that there is little to no undercoating on this car. There is black out on all the areas one expects to find it. But the under coating is very minimal at best. The NCRS manual states this undercoating can be sparse. But I would expect to see more. Anybody else finding the same?

Gene,
I am used to seeing the backsides of the headlight buckets, and the splash pans up front, and very little on the rear. When the rear is undercoated, it usually exists at the rear of the wheelwell especially down low on the well.
I have never seen one that did not have the splash pans and headlight buckets undercoated. They probably wanted to cut down on the noise of rocks bouncing off the metal parts.
