Who makes the most accurate reproduction heater box cover for judging purposes. This is the heater box inside the engine compartment on the firewall. Paragon makes one however they state that theirs is not the correct color for judging. Thanks in advance.

I used their heater box cover and "massaged" it to look original. Using the inside for testing...use some steel wool to get the grey fiberglass strings to appear. When you have a satisfactory appearance then spray the area with a highly diluted mix of black paint and appropriate solvent... like you are cleaning out the spray gun. If it is too "black" then add thinner and try again. This also works well on the tire tub......
