    wheels

I am looking for a set (4) of rims for a 1972. S/B dated coded May 1972 or there about.

Any thoughts as to where I can look?

    Re: wheels

Typically, you'll find used originals from shops that specialize in parting out Corvettes and/or doing restoration/service. There are many across the country to make inquiry of. The shop here in Denver that specializes in parting out Shark cars is Corvelle Automotive, Keith Beyersdorf owner/operator, at (303) 777-2020.

One thing to watch out for is used steel wheels that have been 'curbed' and are out of round. Shops that do wheel truing get something like $100 per wheel to put a used steel wheel back into round...
