Were there different frame part numbers for a coupe and convertible frame since the convertibles have two extra body mounts? I'm having stencil made by Quanta for my 1964 Corvette convertible and was wondering. Also what is the lower number on the stencil that has a dash and another number after it? Quanta only wants the VIN to make te correct stencil, wouldn't the coupe and convertible frames carry different part numbers???
There was only one frame and one part number for coupe/conv frames. The difference, as you mnentioned, was the additional body mounts for conv. These were added at the St. Louis plant.
I believe the other number was an A O Smith number. May have been their part number?
