I need some help!

1. not to sure if the washer pump works correctly, it clicks but never had any water in it. Is there a way to test this before I put it back on the car? should I have it re-conditioned if working while out?(washer @ wiper motor)

2. I bought a wiper arm removal tool but not quite smart enough to figure the thing out, HELP!

3. Once the arms are off I intend to repair as needed, but not sure of correct shade of black to use. and does that same color continue inside wiper compartment and linkage? where do I get it?

Damon, You might as well put it back on the car and try it. Blow water into the tubes from your mouth to prime the pump, then quickly plug back in. You can fix the pump on the car as easy as off. You can play with a 12 volt source off the car but it probably won't work by the time you get it back on. That is , I take it that the wiper motor works, its just the washer pump.Test the motor off the car. The wiper arm removal tool is stupid! At the base of the wiper arm ,there's a small flange that sticks out around the base. You simply pry the flange out a bit and at the same time pull up on the base. I made a curved pry tool out of a bent screwdriver end. You need to place a flat piece of wood, rubber,or the like to keep from scratching the paint at the pry point. It should come off easier than you think. Watch the location of the wiper arm resting place so you can match the location when you put them back on. Also clean the grooves on the post plus a little lube on it so it will come back off easier the next time.
