C2 Tank Sheets

Anyone hear of LATE 66's having tank sheets ? My 66 Vin # 127530 was built July 28th (Thursday) 190 cars from end of production which was the next day (Fiday July 29th). I think I see a glimpse of paper below the tank's rubber collar or maybe it's wishful thinking since this car is a original 38K mile car. Thanks for all who respond. Bill #20328

I don't know about late cars like yours, but I believe build sheets where put on gas tanks beginning in 1967. In '66 build sheets where put behind the kick panel.I'm sure others will advise you.

I've heard that very late 66 cars had the tank sheet but I've never seen one. Very possible that they do exist.

Nothing on '66 coupe VIN 27112

Trim tag: K22 S4880, 986AA, 426AA (air car). You can see the RH bottom of the tank, but I'm pretty sure it didn't have anything top LH, or I would have found out.

Hit in 1985; don't know what happened to it.

I have VIN 127592 (128 from the end). I know that my fuel tank was dropped during a restoration in 1982. There was NOT a build sheet on the tank. Sorry. Maybe you could help me. Is your car a small block? If so, can you tell me what casting number appears on your block? Thanks.
