'70 LS-5 Tach

I searched the archives on this but found no posts so here's the question: Where does the yellow arc and red arc begin on a '70 LS-5 tachometer with A/C and automatic?

I believe that the yellow arc starts at about 5800 RPM and the red arc starts at 6000 RPM and extends through the remainder of the RPM range on the tach.

Thanks, Joe! I saw what was described as a '69 up big block Corvette tach on eBay and the yellow arc started around 6200 and the red ended at 7000. Kinda jump started me to thinking I had the wrong tach. You can imagine how that had a mental domino effect.

The tach face that you describe was used for L-71 engines.

That's 350/350

LS-5 redline is 5600 RPM.

Thanks. I saw that, too, after, the posts and after I uncovered my Corvette today. I saw that my yellow started at 5300 and the red ended at 7000 on mine. So I went through a bunch of photos of '70 LS-5s with automatic and A/C on eBay and so did those.
