I'm about to rebuild the soft top hardware and install new cloth. What is the best soft top reference for this process that has detailed pictures?? I believe that the top hardware is complete except for screws and washers that go on the bows and hold the weather stripping in place. However, there's nothing like great pictures to illustrate the assembly.

I would recommend Mr. Thomas G. Crockatt’s article “1956-1962 Corvette Soft Top Installation” originally published in Volume 13, Number 2, Fall 1986 issue of the Restorer. Also, the Corvette Servicing Guide ST-12 available for purchase from the NCRS bookstore. Good Luck with your project---Donald
Get the Al Knoch video. Also use ST-12 for reference. Example the Al Knoch video says to use his markings on his top pads for bow locations. It did not look right and I corrected my top installation before finishing. Use the factory dimensions in ST -12.
