    winter carb prep

    on my 57 four barrel carb I kind of forgot do I pour a little gas down the middle fill tube in winter, or in spring when I start it up

      In the spring... you're trying to replace any gas that evaporated from inside the carb while it sat.

          Paul,

          Actually the best prep is no prep at all. Just drive it twenty miles every week and you don't have to worry about it.
