This is a question about 1961, the NCCC National Convention that took place that year, the people who attended and their Corvettes. The convention was held at the St. Louis Holiday Inn South just south of Kirkwood, MO on June 23 through 25 of 1961.
Does anybody remember attending this convention or know of someone who did?
The host club for the event was the St. Louis Corvette Club which I joined in November of 1961 not long after this convention took place. The attached photo is the inside cover of Corvette News Vol. 4 NO. VI. Corvette News that did a nice story about the convention. "I sure hope this link works".
I am very interested in the right hand upper picture and the second Corvette in line. Plus the two St. Louis Corvette Club Members Tom Eckert and Margaret Orschein in the lower right hand picture. Two good friend that I have not seen in many years.
