Difference between63 and 64 lower A-frame?

Can someone please explane the difference between a 63 and a 64 or later lower A-frame? I'm told there is an extra bracket on one or the other.Also is a 63 chevy car and a 63 Vette upper A-frame shaft the same? Thanks Stan 19259

I believe that the difference in the 1963 and 64+ lower a-arms involves the addition of a welded-on reinforcement to the 64+ pieces. This reinforcement is seen on the inner forward side of the arms.

1963 passenger car upper a-arm shafts are not the same as 1963 Corvette. However, 63-82 Corvette upper a-arm shafts are the same as 65-70 passenger car.

To add to Joes post 63 64 65 upper arm shafts are square at the bolt to frame bosses and 66 up are round.Phil 8063
