C3 1971 454 Heater Hoses

I have been trying to get a judging manual since May, and the new issue has not been printed yet.

Will someone please tell me what hoses I need for a '71 454 non A/C car.

I see various listing in the supplier catalogs. Ribbed no GM logo, red stripe with GM logo, and other types.

What does the judging manual say for my car, or is there a supplier that specializes in heater parts that will know?

I don't understand why your local NCRS Chapter Judging Chairman can't help you with issues like this... But, here's the text of the 3rd Edition of the '70-72 JG:

"Heater hoses are black and may have GM loto on them. Many original heater hoses are seen with with letters DL or U stamped on them. The most common designs have three or four narrow gorrves along their length that is a code to indicate the manufacturer. These grooves are narrower than the raised ribs on the current service replacement hoses...."

Dennis, go with the no logo. Use the one original on your car as a guide. NO one is reproducing a totally correct hose
