Here is a super rare AO smith bodied 435hp convertible, LOL. What bugs me however is that some poor guy is going to buy this car thinking he got a good deal when in fact he is getting robbed! I even emailed the seller telling him in fact that all AO smith cars were small blocks in 67 and he may be able to recoup damages if the car when he bought it was misrepresented. His reply to me was that I need to hit the books and that he has the tank sticker. Well at least he cannot say that he was not told!

Love the chrome valve covers. Must be an engine from an L89.

It probably is an A. O. Smith body. As you said, they were all (originally) small blocks.

John, Why does Nolan Adams book suggest that a few big blocks were produced by A.O.Smith? He states that "A few - less than 10% - were built by A.O.Smith."
