C2 question from beginner

Number one of many questions for my 65. I removed my driver door panel tonight to get at my vent window regulator and after I removed the paper cover, I discovered the number "443" written in crayon. Is this a build sequence number from the plant? Thanks

I found the body sequence number on six places on my 1960, so I suspect there are other spots on yours. Keep a sharp eye out!

Never know where you may find a production sequence number.
