trying to install new sway bar bushings on a 60, having a hard time bolting bushings back together.

Use LONG bolts first to compress the bushings, then replace with stock length bolts.

I found the that repro's are too narrow and the hole to small

Greg,

If I am right that you are talking about the bushings on the ends of the sway bar links, I used a turnbuckle hooked to the sway bar to compress it and I kept the bolt in place with a piece of wood on a jack beneath it. You can do it in a jiffy that way. Send me your e-dress and I'll e you a couple of photos if you need to see what I'm talking about.

The sway bar bushings I got

from Dr Rebuild were identical to the originals, except of course they weren't all squished and hard :o)
