Re: 63 A frame dust shields
Please do a search on "A Arm Seal" sometime in Nov 06.
I never found any thick seals, Dr. Rebuild did known of porblem, however has found no source for the .100 thick seal.
Best bet is NOS from a supplier or dare I say ebay.
The 63-66 are different from the 67's so watch out.
If you need pictures email me, unable to post pictures.

Re: 63 A frame dust shields
try Steele or Corvette Rubber. i bought a piece of material to make a-arm shields for the 41 Willys that has a c-4 front suspension and i wanted A-arm dust shields. they supplied the material and i cut it to size. think it was thicker than the current repo shields but willy isn't here at present to mic the thickness . good luck, mike- Top

Re: 63 A frame dust shields
Mike,
Great idea however Steele Rubber Products does not have any sheet material and Corvette Rubber at 800-216-9412 from the web site is not a corvette number.
So if you have time could you try to determine who your material came from. This would be the best way to get the A Arm Seal.
Thanks- Top

Re: Corvette Rubber contact info
Thanks Gary,
I did have the wrong number!
However Corvette Rubber only has the .075" repro material not the .100" original stuff. They did give me their supplier, Paragon, but they only have the .075 also. Have traded a number of emails with Dr Rebuild on said subject reaching the same conclusion, so if anyone finds raw material at the .100" thickness PLEASE post the source. I'm sure many want to know.
