Does anyone know if the paper envelope for the spare keys was the same for 1967 and for 1968?
I was given a possible source for the 67 envelope and it was suggested that it might be the same as the 68 but I want to be certain before purchasing.

Have you checked the MF Dobbins 'Corvette Fact Book' yet? He typically has a picture in each model year section depicting the various glove box content components...
