Birthday question

Here a question, I've got a 66 AO smith build convertible the trim tag date is G23 which I think is March 23. The Birthday calculator came back with March 5th for its vin of 15736. the engine stamping is F0224HT with a casting date of either B-13-6 or B-18-6. My question what is the build date of this car? Whats the G23 mean? Thanks for any help. sincerely Brian

If Im not mistaken the A month for AO Smith 66 model is Aug. G being the 8th month would be Feb so a G23 trim tag date is Feb 23.

I might be wrong, but I pretty sure that an AO body build of G23 would be February 23 not March 23. The letter representing the month was different for AO than StLouis. If you had a St Louis car it would be March. So, your numbers look good.

You are correct. The Smith plant used A for august while the St Louis plant used A for September.
