Proper configuration question regarding the water pump pulley for a 67 base motor (327/300), no steering, brakes, or air.
The AIM, section K19, sheet A5.5 indicates that the correct pulley should be 3900434. The NCRS Judging Manual concurs with that, page 83. The specific wording in the judging manual says "The K19 option requires the addition of a pulley to the water pump............the pulley is positioned between the clutch fan and the water pump pulley."
However, my 3900434 pulley is a double-groove pulley that no way in Hades will fit over the water pump pulley--it IS the water pump pulley AND the pulley for the K19 pump.
Is the wording incorrect/misleading in the judging manual, am I reading it wrong, or do I have the wrong pulley? Methinks it's the wording, and needs to be revised, but I don't want to immediately blame the manual.
Thanks for your help!
