It is a simple joy to drive , I love driving my 55 for the last 25 years and now have 115,000 miles on the original engine. Wish others would so I could see them on the road instead of ware housing them for some one els.

Too bad they didn't do an ad like that for every year Corvette built.
You can tell that they were going after the male market. Only once did he refer to the buying public as "Mr & Mrs America". The rest of the time it was "her" and "she"

That was Dave Garroway, the host of the Today Show back in the 50's. I have the complete video of that and other commercials by Dave as well as early development films of Duntov, mules, etc.Comment
