Radio speaker for 65

I recentely purchased a nice 65. The radio had been changed to an aftermarket model. I have the original wonderbar, but I was told I will need to replace the speaker with an original style, any thoughts? Thanks, Jerry.

I think Long Island Corvette has the correct speaker.

Reproduction speakers

The reproduction speakers sold by all the Corvette supply stores are not Delco speakers.

I've never liked the sound I got from reproduction speakers. I prefer to buy old original Delcos and have them re-coned for about $40. They sure sound better to me.

These comments will make sure you get the transformer also.
