Piece of St. Louis trivia. I'm pretty sure this is the photo shoot I was on for Emerson Electric around '75 or '76. I had to accompany the TOW and set it up for the shoot. After a few around the parking lot, the photographer wanted the brushy area on the other side of the fence. So it was loaded on the motorized kart, taken passed the guard to this area, and set up. About 15 minutes later, we had police and security all over us. The guard had no issue with us there, but panic followed when someone in the neighborhood called the police, who called Emerson security, who all thought we were stealing the equipment. While outside the fence, we were still on company property. Only about 5 miles from the Corvette plant, not some battlefield.
Notice the long hair on the model facing backwards and plain uniforms.
That's amazing. It was 1971 when I worked for a power supply company on LI called Venus Scientific that specialized in high voltage power supplies. I still remember how impressed I was that wires actually followed (and stayed attached) to the missle.
