    Re: I've got a P & A 30 dated 10/66.

Yup, same as my 60's parts books. I know I HAD a radio book but someone borrowed it for a few days, about 20 years ago. A price book from the 60's would tell us if the 156 was ever available in service.

          Re: 1964 RADIO PARTS BOOK P&A 5B (10/63)

Thanks Robert. Looks like the correct 7282156 speaker/transformer assembly was never available in service. It was serviced with the 7282256 speaker from the beginning. I wonder why GM did that?

              Thanks Bob.

That's more typing than I would have done for me.

                Delivery?

If I win the speaker, I'll probably by-pass shipping and just tell the seller to throw it directly in the trash. I doubt he will charge as much as UPS for that "service".

                  Re: 1964 RADIO PARTS BOOK P&A 5B (10/63)

                  FWIW--
I have three original speakers on my shelf--all needing reconing desperately--all believed to be from 62's originally---one is a 141, the two others are 428's.
