    Engine Stamp Pad

I'm currently in the process of cleaning up and detailing the engine compartment on my 65 coupe. Can anyone suggest the best method for cleaning up the engine stamp pad? It's soiled and has very very light rust.

    Thanks

brass brush with 10w motor oil or W-D 40. be gentle as you only get the factory broach marks once.mike

        Paul,

You can use Eagle brand "etching" mag wheel cleaner. It will only take the rust off and you can protect it from re-rusting with a coat of oil.

I'd just leave it as it is soooooo authentic as it stands. JMHO Al W.
