I don't think that's possible. Along with an incorrect block, I've counted 26 incorrect items under the hood just at a quick glance. Love the zincad plating out of a spray can.- Top

I have a feeling a contest is about to begin. How many missing/incorrect items can you find?- Top

"As near as anyone can tell, only six Corvettes with this color combination were created in St. Louis. This alone is enough to cause heart palpitations with the NCRS crowd."
Yea right...I feel my heart palpitating, but only because this ass wipe is using our name in vain to hype this car.
Maybe it's time for another bogus car eBay rebutal ad?...This one doesn't seem to be drawing any bidders, but if it does?... heh heh heh.- Top

It's a long list. red line tires, side exhaust, gas lid, valve cover finish, silver paint on hood catches, hood catch springs not black, satin finish wiper arms, brake booster finish, exhaust manifold finish, unpainted water pump bypass hose and hardware, painted hood support, heater hose, fan belt, wiper motor painted, water pump bolts unpainted, hurst shifter, appears to have seat belt brackets on console, spin on oil filter, bell housing painted black, after market oil pan, brake cables painted black, monospring rear spring, entire undercarriage painted black.
How'd I do?- Top

What you can't tell
is: (A) how much of the original Flight Score was due to mileage driven credits or (B) what was done to the car in the hands of subsequent owners since the car was Flight Judged.
It wouldn't be the first time a factory concours award winning car was 'mined' for its restored parts subsequent to judging or follow-on buyers changed its configuration to what they 'wanted' the car to be vs. what it was when it left the factory...- Top

Re: What you can't tell
In my opinion, if a car is being advertised/sold as a 98.8 NCRS car, it should then BE that same 98.8 car, including all of the components that it had when judged. However, I seriously doubt the car ever reached that level.- Top
