Can someone with an original 56 or 57 tell me what bolt heads markings should be on the bolts that hold the radiator support sides in place? These are the ones that are seen through the front grill opening that go through the fiberglass panel on each side of the radiator and hold the radiator support in place. I think that there are about six of them. Also any other washers, etc. that are correct. Thanks.

Dave, thanks for the information. I am sure that there are other responses out there if I can just draw them out. I got my Triple Crown last week end and the judge said that I had the wrong bolts holding my radiator support, BUT he couldn't tell me what the right ones were..........not a good thing from a judge. I have known the guy for years and respect his knowledge, so I want to make an effort to correct them IF in fact they are incorrect. Thanks again.

Gary my car was body on restored by someone else in 85. I have no idea if the radiator support has been out of the car. The markings on the bolts are WB 1C.
There is a flat and a lock washer as well. Rob

Rob and Pierre,
I was afraid that you were going to say that. That is exactly what my judge/friend told me. Looks like I owe him a beer. Thanks for the confirmation!

wouldn't assume GM was consistent with such things, they usually had (I'm told) 2-3 suppliers for such things, and the new ones were thrown in the bin on top of the old. My front sway bar brackets still have the original bolts in them, 3 plain, 1 "WB1C".
