Does anyone know when the very first top flite award was given? Where and to whom? I did a search on the board and could not find anything. Thanks.. Ed

Ed, I suggest you review the 25th Anniversary...
...edition of the Corvette Restorer Magazine. Failing that, might check with Gary Mortimer in Cincy to see what he may recall from the first meet. Of course, I'm not 100% sure they called them "Top Flight" awards back then. Good luck on your search. DennisComment

Ed, As noted, the mentioned magazine has...
...the results of the first 3 shows NCRS conducted listed on page 19. They are, however, listed as 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each division and included a "Best of Show"... The NCRS judging has evolved somewhat since 1974.Comment
