I have a 1969 corvette with factory type installed side pipes. The black fiberglass piece that is attached to the covers, that attaches to the body appears to be short at the back. When attached I can still see about one inch of exposed body panel at the rear. If anyone has a 69 with correctly installed sidepipes I would greatly appreicate a email close up picture of the rear area. My sidepipe covers could be reprductions that are just a poor fit.email rickaom@hotmail.com Thanks for any help. Rick

Re: 1969 sidepipe covers
Rick,
The 69 sidepipes that have been on my 71 since March of 71 have inner
fiberglass insulators/trim that are long enough to cover the rocker
panels. The rear end of the trim portion is very fragil. Could a piece
be broken off your trim? I had success repairing mine long ago.
