          Only with the hood open

          Otherwise you would slide off.

Take my 67 Renault 10. The front seats went forward, back went down to the rear seats, and the whole passenger compartment became a bed.

Great if you were only 5'-2"

              Re: 68 Saabs rule!

Small with front wheel drive and that wonderful flop down rear seat.

I lost count on how many .....ahh.......off road excusions I took that poor little puppy on

Hey Dick, I can vouch for the 66 Charger. Man that thing was an aircraft carrier compared to the ole Saab. Plus the girls went nuts over the aqua marine dash lighting and those bright red needles.

Hmm ...... wonder what Hemmings has listed for Mopars

I'm still driving my first car (bought it in 62) with 4drs and a back seat, with plenty of stories!
Gotta keep it, never know when I may need it.

My first car and the back seat was well used , this is a restored one I now have.

A friend of mine has owned a 2 door hardtop Impala from his high school days. His wife wanted him to sell it. He told her never. Why I asked privately. He has fond memories of a 17 year old girlfriend wearing nothing but a smile in the backseat. Those are some of the great memories we all treasure. It's not just the cars, it's the people, and all the wonderful memories that drive us. Merry Christmas To All. DG

                            when i heard the expression,

"it's the people" from NCRS members i was certainly got the wrong impression who they were talking about.

But I had a early 1950s dodge business coupe with a factory trunk access door from inside the cat to the 7' trunk. Flat head 6. Too young & dumb to care ( about the 6). Don

                                My two chevy's 1971

In front of my bachelor pad. Still got the one in the front. Cross the country in 69. And I still get a smile from the ex-mayor's wife.

Oh, the memories with these cars!
