I have one off a 427 "T1205IL" service replacement engine with the same number on it. Photo exists somewhere...

As I recall, that part number appears correct for 7 inch 390 hp. Look closely at the front and tell me what is stamped in the front. Terry

                7" dia. hydraulic C2 BB's

                # 3860060, which doesn't appear under Gr 0.659 in the parts manuals, so I suspect that this casting # is just for the center hub. The assembly (incl. ring and rubber damper is listed as # 3860010.

That's what it is; it's just the casting number for the center hub. It's not a finished part number and was, of course, never available seperately. It may not even identify the complete balancer that it's part of since it may have been used for more than 1 finished balancer.

                        Paul -

I have the drawing for the 7" hydraulic-lifter 427 balancer, P/N 3860008, and it shows a callout for the center hub portion of the assembly as 3860060.
