72 Corvette vacum tank

I'm looking for a main vacum tank for a 72 Corvette. finding a good used one has proved to be pretty difficult. Any suggestions?

Doug, a very good resource would the the Driveline, a buy/sell publication that comes with the NCRS membership. You get a free 25 word ad in each issue (6 times a year) if you so desire.

These show up on eBay fairly often. Mostly, they are used pieces and one always runs a risk with a used piece like this (i.e. does it leak or how soon will it develop a leak?).

In case you find an NOS piece, GM #3966704 is what you're looking for. For a used tank, you're looking for a THREE PORT tank----68-69 used a TWO PORT tank.
