Re: "Last Stingray" listed on Ebay
The 1967 year was the last year for the Sting Ray. The term has been used for years and just more hype by a seller and I doubt E-bay cares. A buyer should know enough to see no VIN is listed and it is a 67 from the last model year they were made.

Re: "Last Stingray" listed on Ebay
Lyle, I may be mistaken and the car is for real. One reason I was skeptical, and I may be wrong, is I believe I've seen that actual photo elseware. I don't know alot about "The Last Stingray" but I know there are tons of members that do. Has that photo been passed around on some of the corvette sites that anyone is aware of? Take care, Shooter- Top

Re: "Last Stingray" listed on Ebay
Henry,
This is NOT "The Last Stingray" that has been getting all the hype. This is simply a 67 car, which appears to be overpriced considering the the pictures that are shown. I would be suprized if it even makes his opening bid, but there are all kind of suckers in the world! I do not see anything that would cause Ebay to pull the listing, but I may be missing something. Just asking too much for a car is not sufficient reason to pull a listing.

Re: If it was the "Last Stingray" it would be a 19
The ebay car is not the actual "last built Stingray". The real "last built Stingray" was in Chicago for the Vettefest and is silver. Somone is playing off the press that car has received. They should call the ebay car the "last year built" for the Stingray.- Top

Re: "Last Stingray" listed on Ebay
He's just the first one to try to capitalize on all of the engineered hype regarding that car. There will be many, many others... I have the last green, red, black, etc. 67, or the last small block. It can go on and one. I think I have the last Goodwood Green 427 convertible made in the 2nd week of November 1966. He sure doesn't know the difference between "Sting Ray" and "Stingray".
