How about Corvette Shavers??????

All GM models of Cars and Corvettes were offered a dealer accessory shaver , they were all supplied by Remington's and came in a GM box. I started with the 1952 Chevy car shaver up to 67? Corvette. This is a compile of information I feel is correct. The last shaver I throw in is a ( "Sportsman" ) shaver that was offered from Remington for most year Cars as a picnic shaver . What's interesting about it is that it will run on 6V 12V or batteries that are stored in the mirror case if your camping away from your car. Other models were still offered in the 70's but I don't show them or know when GM stopped them.
I know NCRS people may not have any interest but I like them and may be you will. All the ones you see has a total value of about 8K.

Roy-- How do you know they are corvette shavers. They just look like run of the mill shavers by remington.

The years I mention for each is a good guess from years of buying and selling them, none of them are for a certain model or make of car or Corvette, The boxing don't say Corvette or car or truck , it's the year introduction for ALL GM cars.
Like the 12V shaver you saw 55 to 58 Chevy guys are paying 1k and up to have the shaver accessory in their classic to show of. Only NCRS Corvettes out of all the other GM lines don't recognize accessories which GM offered for THAT YEAR Corvette. I of course think they are missing out on something to help make the Corvette extra unique.
My Corvette makes me an odd ball in NCRS but the members love to see and watch how they work.

Roy, I really enjoyed your shaver collection. My father had one of those when I was a kid. He had a close friend who owned a Chev dealership and gave one to my Dad. I remember looking at it a lot when I was a kid. Parents gone now. Don't know what happened to the old shaver. My Dad had a lot of the Remington electric razors. But only one form GM. Thanks for the memories. John

Nah not sweet on you Roy, just wondering about how extensive your accessory collection is.
In days gone by I use to see Prince Matchibelle (SP) perfume in dealer attics packaged as dealer giveaways to get women in showrooms.
