Brrrrrrrr now that winter is hear glad to have my 55 Corvette ready for when we drive up Hwy 80 to Reno and stay with our relatives over night. There "are" nice sunny days and when we some times take the 55 up the weather can change so I carry the GM dealer accessory Tire Tracks in case we get stuck in some snow , also the Winter Wiper blades that help if it does snow. It can get real cold in Reno and I plug in the Battery and engine heater , makes the Corvette start right up in the cold morning.

I find it to be interesting and fun adding GM accessories even after market items that make the 55 more enjoyable, or add a AC item like the oil stick and trans tags to remind me when to chang oil. Key trinket and many other things .when I dress up for some Corvette dinner I use some of the AC items I collect, like the AC cuff links It's kind of nice being different and seeing NCRS people's face while looking over my 55, most are nice and fascinated with them and there are a few ( you know what I mean). I'm the odd guy out in NCRS but so what!
It's kind of hard to understand why other NCRS guys don't get in to accessories or trinkets , gee if my 55 can get a top flight having accessories installed they can too. But there is a different mind set.

While were talking about accessories FORD guys are also nuts about them , this is a rare called BIRDS NEST ACCESSORY by Ford in a 57 T-Bird. How many knew that??
