That word is the number one problem and will always stop most people from volunteering input to Chang or adding to the JM. Why! Because there were so many parts and changes that were never documented . GM kept no documents about C1 and C2's concerning options, color,delivery dates and so on.
So we cant offer what we know is correct to NCRS with out documents , so you see that leaves use with only our knowledge of what is original , this leaves use with drawing up a petition signed by a large number of members to get attention.
For me it took many years to convince people that the 53 to 55 Corvette never used a T-3 headlight bulb but a tin back that rusted out
that's right no Documentation. Now years later I found that they used THREE different design bulbs for the 55 Corvette,I don't think I'll live that long to see it changed again.That is only one of many things we all know now.
So to every one talking about pic GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK!!

Maybe someone can come up with a simple

program which just captures the image link in the post, transfers it to an NCRS image server or separate hard disk, and then puts a marker or NCRS link un the post. That would be a good start on archiving the photos without much human time involved. The images would probably load faster on the forum.

If it were done independently of the posting process, say once a day go through all the posts of the day before and capture the photos, it then wouldn't effect the time required to post a picture. Aren't we loading the pictures onto a temporary file on the NCRS server anyway to display them.

Any computer geeks out there?

If it's a go, the Team Leader gets the final say on what's accepted into the photo DB. If he/she can be responsible for the JG they could also be responsible for the photos in the DB.

I don't think so. Right clicking Properties shows the URL for where the images are. I think they are simply image source links and are coming from their server, not NCRS'.

It puts a temporary file on your computer to display. Guess I'm not that computer geek.

But maybe the photo link can be transferred to an NCRS link.

To add a picture to a post on this forum, you have to upload the picture to a web server. You then put the web server address URL for the pic (e.g., ) into your post on this forum. The pic then gets added to the post. But the pic does not transfer over to the NCRS website or server.

The pics will continue to show up in this forum, including the archives, so long as the URL originally used in the post remains valid. I have my own webserver, so I keep the pics up for a long time. I understand that others, like Roy, delete their pics after a week or so because of space limitations. Once the pic is deleted from the web server, the URL is no longer valid and the pic will no longer appear in this forum.

I don't think it would be very easy to transfer the pics posted on this forum to an NCRS server, with all of the information you would want. I think the only way to store the pics would be for NCRS to host and maintain a webserver for pics. Posters on this forum would upload their pics to the NCRS web server before making a post. I suspect that such a web server is doable, but complicated. (You have to protect against hackers, misuse, etc)

A 97 score is not easy to get from todays judges do you really want to add pictures? Your car may get better and your score may head south.

And there you get to the root of the problem. Some Team Leaders are much more responsive than others, and will readily accept input. I know that I've helped further the JG's in at least 2 areas, but the Team Leaders are willing to hear me out.

Some appear to act differently.
