DOCUMENTATION
That word is the number one problem and will always stop most people from volunteering input to Chang or adding to the JM. Why! Because there were so many parts and changes that were never documented . GM kept no documents about C1 and C2's concerning options, color,delivery dates and so on.
So we cant offer what we know is correct to NCRS with out documents , so you see that leaves use with only our knowledge of what is original , this leaves use with drawing up a petition signed by a large number of members to get attention.
For me it took many years to convince people that the 53 to 55 Corvette never used a T-3 headlight bulb but a tin back that rusted out
that's right no Documentation. Now years later I found that they used THREE different design bulbs for the 55 Corvette,I don't think I'll live that long to see it changed again.That is only one of many things we all know now.
So to every one talking about pic GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK!!
