    The last stingray?

What will the last Stingray bring at BJ is a question floating aroung in the corvette forums. IF it brings big money will the last C1 1962 vette also bring big money? Now if Dave Ressler, the colored sport coat guy shows up, All bets are off. He is nuts about the serial number thing. He is the same guy who bought the 003 53 last year and it now resides in Montana, I have heard. A friend of mine says 1.3 mil.. I think $650K. DG

Too much B-J Print Advt. and Speed Channel hype NOT to make 1 mill. or so. The Ron Allen Chevelle 70 LS6 ragtop was est. at 800k or so. Look where that wound up. With none of the real serious advt. money the 67 has. This Last 67 is one of Jackson showpieces this yr. A ringer in the audience will bid it up. If not, the fueled egos and alcohol will.

I seem to have, possibly, the only '56 in existance with a single 4 bbl/powerglide(original)(maybe one other).....does this mean I can get 1.3 million for it at BJ???!!! It has been a slow week here in Nebraska(and cold also)so.....I guess I would take 8 or 9 hundred thousand just to save everybody the time!!!!!!!!!

If it's the last 56? Maybe 1.4 mil? Some of the buyers at BJ just want to get their mug on TV. Remember last years $4 million for a monstrosity of a bus. Just think of how many great cars, one could buy with $4 mil.. It's their money. DG

According to T.C. at pro-team there is already a offer of 1.2 million on the car, and they expect it to bring between 2 and 3 million at auction!

I know the guy with the last C-1 he lives close to me and I have run into him at a local car show... he is a real nice guy, he has had the car since it was new! It is black with tan interior and top... real nice car.

I was at Pro Team checking out a 67 a few weeks ago and they have a nice Display with the Last 67 in one of the buildings. It's a short drive for me to Pro Team only about 30 miles.

I think the most of the winners at B-J are getting the Oscar Meyer. Dale

If the 67 brings 2-3 million it sounds like this is the year the last C1 should go to BJ also. Nothing like striking when the iron is hot.
