    Cn'V Corvette Sales

Hello, A friend of mine is considering purchasing a 1966 Silver Convertable
427/425 from Cn'V Corvette Sales. I searched the archives and cannot find a
recent update of this dealer. I see they have received a few complaints in the
past and would like to know if anyone has had any recent dealings with them.
Also if there any NCRS members in the Tempe Arizona area that would be willing
to inspect the car for us, we would be happy to pay you for your help. Thank you all in advance for any and all help. I can be e-mailed at action@nb.net

A few months ago on the Corvette Forum, there was a guy who bought a '71 454 there and had lots of problems. You might want to search Corvette Forum for comments.

Loren Lundberg is in Glendale, AZ--I hate to say it publicly, because I don't want to build his ego, but he's very knowledgeable. You might want to contact him--look in the profiles section here for contact info.

Four or five years ago I was in Phoenix and stopped in to see a 72 they had listed. The only thing nice about the "very original" car was a fresh paint job. The carpet still had dirt on it and the underhood area was a mess. Lots of chrome and bubba work. The door panels had cheap K-Mart speakers in them and the rest of the interior was crap. Other than that it was a nice car. I spent ten minutes looking at it and figured that perhaps the rest of their inventory was similar.

I remember reading an online story where someone was suing them (?) because they had sold him a ZR1 with a washed, salvage title. The details are sketchy on my part.

I live in Tempe and have been by there a few times. I would NEVER buy a car from them.

These guys do not have a good reputation, so anyone considering a car offered by them should have the car thoroughly evaluated by one or more experts. I think it is always possible for a nice car to end up at a questionable dealership, but extreme caution should be exercised.
