Intake 2 4 barrel 8731394

A friend just picked up an intake with two Carter 4 barrels with no choke plates and cast iron (?) bases, supposed to be for a 59 Corvette. It's a Winters casting with No. 8731394. ($150 for the works.) I don't know much about C1s. Is it for a 59?

I think you'll find that the number is "3731394". If so, it's a 2 X 4 manifold for a later 1956 Corvette. It was not used after 1956 for PRODUCTION.
