    65-66 caliper (J-56 ??)

Were brake piston insulators used on all 65-66 calipers?? I use the second design J-56 (thick) insulators and was wondering the exact origin of the thinner insulators, was it 65-66 or 65-67 and are the thin ones considered 1st design J-56??

    thanks in advance...HN

      Howard-----

The thin Pyroceram insulators were used for ALL 1965-E1967 caliper pistons, regardless of whether J-56, or not. The only difference between J-56 and non J-56 during this period as far as caliper assemblies was concerned was the "dual pin" front calipers. That's it.
