Re: Hi Joe, Here is my 41 Willys Gasser
Love those old gassers. I remember seeing them at the drags in the 60s when I was a kid. I was at a swap meet many years ago and a guy was selling the drivers door off of Ohio George Montgomery's 33 Willys gasser. If I had any money that day I would have brought it home.
Al Hoffman of NHRA AA/FC fame had one of his Willys kit cars at Orlando in January. It is a well done car and would make a nice street rod.

BL - Saw that kit car @ Orlando... First time I...
...realized that those coupes were split rear windows. Usually, all you see is the front end (up in the air) with a big blower sticking out of the hood. I've got a '40 Willy pickup but, alas, no split window (and no hole in the hood). I just have to be satisfied w/my '52 Bug w/a split rear window...- Top

Hi Terry
The body is fiberglass. The frame is custom made, powder coated with great suspention, disc brakes, etc. I still need a drivetrain, interior, wiring and a few odds and ends.I'm planning on getting the drivetrain this year. It will be just a nice higher end H.P hotrod. I don't plan on racing it.

John,
Cast one vote for installing a 572BB crate motor. Then you could pull stumps with it. Could also use it like old steam locomotives: attach a long belt to the drive wheels to turn a circular saw blade and mill logs!
