Unfortunately, all spell check progrrams I have seen will not catch anything that is a real word, only if letters do not make sense. They do not distinguish between "there" and "their," "its and it's," "sell and sale," "axle" and "axel," etc. Students in my composition classes have problems with that.
Reba, Of course, you are correct. But spell-checkers are not meant to correct tense or incorrect word usage like many assume. I get caught using the wrong word every now and then to. Oops, I mean TOO!
