Does this washer lid look like an original part?

I realize the description calls it an ORIGINAL part removed in 1969. However, the character fonts in the top lettering don't match known originals I've seen, and the plastic and aluminum rivets look new to me.

Clarification

The lettering on the auction plastic cover looks very, very much like the original examples I've seen. It's just not a 100% perfect match. However, the reproduction covers from Paragon have lettering that is far different from the original style. This auction cover is certainly not a Paragon reproduction cover.

So I guess my question is, can the auction cover be a second kind of reproduction? Or, is it just an extremely nice service original that isn't exactly like the few assembly line originals I happen to have seen?

I don't have a major issue with the molding--but with the story. That's a 61-62 style lid, not a 58.

The letter font on Paragon's gray '62 reproduction is definitely the earlier style. Perhaps Al's "late '62" font has the squared-off look of the auction plastic cover lettering.
