    1957 Corvette radio

I am restoring a radio for my '57. I want to rechrome the push buttons but I can't figure out how to get them off. After much pondering I was able to get the WonderBar off by soaking it with release agent. Then I was able to pry it off easily. No such luck with the buttons. Has anyone else figured this out??
    Thanks, Fred

hi fred. i see nobody took a crack at this. i cant help you but would recommend contacting ford radio [not ford auto] in des moines iowa. i bought an excellent restored radio for my 57 from them and they were very helpful. i know they would answer questions over the phone. re. d.

Thanks Dennis, Do you know their phone #? The closest I could get on the internet was Ford and Garland Radio in Des Moines. I have been looking for a service that restores over and above cleanup and wiring.
