Yes, the lid had a part number but it was not displayed on the part. The part number for the lid was GM #6421832. It was discontinued quite a few years ago, though.
The air cleaner element had a part number, too. In fact, it had TWO part numbers. The GM part number of GM #6421746 (which does not appear on the element) and the Delco part number of AC212CW (which does appear on the element).
No part numbers but note the difference in the logo on the original vs repro. lid. I'll post a pic of an original (1500 dollar and rising!) element as soon as I locate it im my files; quite different from the current repros.
